BA-ROCK THE HOUSE Hawaiian Cookies
Makes 6 dozen cookies

Brings down the house every time!


2-1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup each sugar and brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup white chocolate chunks

Heat oven to 375°F.

Mix flour, soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside.

Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.  Add vanilla and eggs; beat until well combined.  Beat in dry ingredients until well blended.  Stir in nuts and chips.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
